EXECUTIVE TEAM

Edmund Wei has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in the Asia-Pacific region, spanning the areas of sales, marketing, finance, manufacturing, construction and service operations.

Prior to starting CommVerge Solutions, he was Managing Director at Lucent Technologies Asia-Pacific Inc. In this capacity, he was responsible for the P&L and strategic growth of Lucent’s Network Products Group in Asia Pacific, including supporting its joint ventures in the region.

Edmund began his career as an investment advisor in the field of infrastructure building and manufacturing in Taiwan, where he was a consultant in the sales & marketing, and services strategies for civil and telecommunications construction companies. He was also the Founder and General Manager  of a construction technology manufacturing firm. After consulting for AT&T and moving to Hong Kong in 1993, he formally joined AT&T Network Systems in 1994 to seek, evaluate, structure, and manage joint venture investments for telecommunications equipment manufacturing in Asia Pacific.

Edmund holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University, Canada.

Milly Tam joined CommVerge in 2013 and was appointed Group Financial Controller in April 2021. Prior to joining CommVerge, Milly was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young.

Milly has over 20 years of financial and auditing experience gained from various companies, Milly is responsible for the overall financial and accounting management of CommVerge.

Milly holds a BBA (Hons) in Accounting from City University of Hong Kong, and is also a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Chee-Khiang Lim (CK) has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and networking sector, with a strong track record of driving business expansion and delivering results.

CK has served as President, ASEAN since 2015. He has played a key role in strengthening regional business and been delivering the levels of profitability for last 15 years of operations. He was Country President, Malaysia up until his appointment as President, ASEAN in 2015 . He was awarded the ‘Can-Do’ Service Excellence and Sales Excellence Award in 2003.

Prior to joining CommVerge Solutions, CK was the General Manager of Digiphonic Sistem Sdn Bhd and the Sales Manager of The General Electric Company (M) Sdn Bhd where he established the Company to be one of the premiere brands in Malaysia during his tenure where he also led the formulation of aggressive sales and product bundling strategies.

Ander Yan has more than 20 years of experience in the field of telecommunication and network security. Since joining CommVerge Solutions China as a system engineer in 2005, Ander rose through technical leadership positions including Technical Manager and Technical Director.  In 2016, Ander was appointed General Manager of NBD with focusing on Cloud Security Business. Under his leadership this business saw rapid profitable growth and starting 2021 he was promoted to lead CommVerge Solutions China as Country President. With a strong technical background and rich experience in cloud-based IaaS/SaaS businesses as well as traditional networking, Ander will be accelerating the transformation of CommVerge Solutions China into a company providing next-generation cloud & network integration services.

Ander holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Shanghai University in China.

Raymond has over 20 years of experience in the IT Total Solutions & Telecommunications industry in Hong Kong. Raymond emanates from a technical background and over the years has acquired extensive experience and expertise in networking solutions and systems where he has been accredited with several professional certificates.

Raymond began his career with CommVerge in Aug 2005 as a System Engineer. His technical achievements since joining CommVerge and extensive experience in the telecommunications industry led to his appointment as the Head of Operations, Hong Kong, in October 2011 where he will be tasked with increasing top line and profitability growth in the service provider sector as well as developing an increasing presence in the enterprise market in Hong Kong.

Raymond graduated with a Master of Science in Information Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Richard Wong joined CommVerge in 2013 and was appointed Director of Legal Affairs, APAC in 2020. With over 10 years of experience in corporate legal affairs, Richard has a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape relevant to CommVerge Solutions’ industry.

Richard leads the legal and compliance functions. He is responsible for providing comprehensive legal guidance and support to the organization, with focus on contract management, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.  Richard brings extensive expertise in multinational transactional law matters, providing strategic legal counsel and navigating complex regulatory landscapes.

Prior to joining CommVerge, Richard was a Senior Legal Officer at Macrokiosk Berhad.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Tasmania and obtained the GDLP from Bond University, Qld, Australia
